Thanks to All the Veterans

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of those and their spouses (that's right their spouses make sacrifices, too) who serve our great country in the United States Armed Forces. I think it should be a law that everyone who served get the day off of work with pay. It is because of all of you that we have the freedoms, rights, and privileges we enjoy here in the U.S.A. It is because of you that we can freely express our opinion and freely worship God. It is because of you that we are free from oppression.

I believe that anyone who has served or is serving, honorably, deserves every good thing they get out of life, especially if they were in combat. Thank you for putting everyone else above your own comfort and convenience. Thank you for being willing to pay the price to serve that we may be free. Thank you for enduring whatever hardships are necessary in order for us to enjoy freedom.

Words are inadequate to express the thanks and praise you deserve for the sacrifices you made and are making. We appreciate you!

And I would like to say a special thank you to my adopted father (See previous post), who went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 31, 2008, for his service in the Phillipines during World War II. Thank you, dad!

Thank you, Veterans, for helping to keep America,"the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."
